In this chapter you will learn about 1. 👶 Early Life, 2. 🇵🇰 Struggle for Pakistan, 3. 🎉 Pakistan is Born, 4. ⭐ Lessons from His Life — read each topic slowly in English, then in Urdu, and study the diagram before moving on.
Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah was born on 25 December 1876 in Karachi. His father was a merchant. As a boy he was honest, hardworking and loved to learn. He studied law in London and became a famous lawyer.
Fix the two facts first: 25 December 1876, Karachi — say the date and the city together until they stick. Then picture the boy: honest in small things, hardworking in studies, loving books. Then follow him to London, where that same boy studied law and became a famous lawyer.
Muslims of the subcontinent needed a separate homeland where they could live freely by their faith. Jinnah led this struggle with wisdom and peaceful, constitutional methods. His leadership united Muslims under the Muslim League.
Ask why a separate homeland was needed: Muslims wanted to live freely by their faith. Then notice how Jinnah fought — not with swords but with wisdom, law and peaceful words. Then see the result: Muslims from many places stood together under one leadership.
Jinnah's motto has three words: Faith (believe in your cause), Unity (stand together), Discipline (follow rules and work in order).
On 14 August 1947, Pakistan came into being. Jinnah became its first Governor-General. He told the nation to work with faith, unity and discipline — his famous motto.
Hold the date 14 August 1947 in your mind like a birthday — it is Pakistan's birthday. On that day the struggle became a country, and Jinnah became its first Governor-General. His message that day, and every day after, was three words: Faith, Unity, Discipline.
Jinnah was honest, punctual and hardworking. He never gave up, even when the work was very hard. We should be honest in class, respect all people, and work hard for our country.
Pick one habit and practise it this week: be honest even when telling the truth is hard, reach class on time, or finish homework without giving up. Jinnah's greatness was not magic — it was small honest habits repeated every day, and a child can copy those today.
These questions are SLO-based practice questions for this chapter. They are NOT copied from the official textbook exercise, because the official Class 3 book exercise was not available to verify word-for-word. Learn the chapter first, then try every question without looking at the answer. All answers below are the library master's model answers (derived from the chapter text), not copied from an official answer key.
