Read the poem standing a little taller — it is a poem of pride. After each line, name the thing it loves: the fields, the mountains, the people, the future. Pride with names is real pride.
Three steps:
سیکھیں: 'پاک' کا مطلب ہے صاف، 'وطن' کا مطلب ہے ملک، 'سرزمین' کا مطلب ہے زمین۔ جملہ: 'پاکستان ہمارا پاک وطن ہے۔'

Learn: 'پاک' means pure, 'وطن' means homeland, 'سر-زمین' means land. Sentence: 'Pakistan ہمارا پاک وطن ہے.'
Example: Recite the poem with pride, then write one promise you make to Pakistan.

Grammar: national words: 'qaumi' means national — qaumi parcham (flag), qaumi tarana (anthem), qaumi zaban (language). Learn them.
'Qaumi' means 'of the nation'. Say qaumi parcham and picture the flag; qaumi tarana and hear the anthem; qaumi zaban and speak Urdu. Three words, three pictures, learned for life.
