A clever fox sees grapes hanging high. She jumps again and again but cannot reach them. At last she walks away saying, 'The grapes are sour!' The story teaches us not to blame things we cannot get.
Read the story like a little play: first the fox looks up, then she jumps, then she jumps again, then she gives up with an excuse. If you can act the four steps, you can retell the whole story.
Three steps:
سیکھیں: 'چالاک' کا مطلب ہے ہوشیار، 'انگور' ایک پھل ہے، 'کھٹے' کا مطلب ہے ترش۔ جملہ: 'لومڑی انگور تک نہ پہنچ سکی۔'
مثال: لومڑی کی چھلانگیں اور آخری جملہ ادا کر کے دکھائیں، پھر بتائیں کہ اسے اس کے بجائے کیا کرنا چاہیے تھا۔
Learn: 'chalak' means clever, 'angoor' means grapes, 'khattay' means sour. Sentence: 'Lomri angoor tak na pahunch saki.'
Example: Act out the fox's jumps and her last line, then explain what she should have done instead.
The lesson: do not call something bad only because you could not get it. Work harder or accept it honestly instead.
The fox's mistake is one we all make: calling something bad only because we failed to get it. Next time you fail at something, try saying the honest sentence instead: 'I could not do it yet. I will practise.'
Grammar: past tense (fail mazi): 'lomri ne chhalang lagai' — the action already happened. Change two present sentences to past.
Past tense tells of work already done. 'Lomri koodti hai' is happening now; 'lomri ne chhalang lagai' is finished. Change the fox's jumps from present to past, one sentence at a time.
Remember: Remember: read the lesson, learn the words, understand the moral, and practice the grammar point.
