📌 ماخذ: یہ باب سرکاری پی سی ٹی بی انگریزی جماعت 4 کی کتاب سے بنایا گیا ہے۔ سبق کا خلاصہ اور وضاحت گائیڈ کے اپنے الفاظ میں ہے، کتاب کا متن نقل نہیں کیا گیا۔ مشق کے سوالات کتاب کی مشق کے انداز پر ہیں اور جوابات گائیڈ کے حل شدہ نمونہ جوابات ہیں۔
This unit, Be Aware, Be Safe, is a story about Sara and Ahsan. A stranger offers Sara a doll, but her mother teaches her never to take anything from strangers and never to go with them. The lesson is clear: be aware, be safe, and always tell your parents if a stranger talks to you.
Sara was holding a doll when Sara and her brother Ahsan entered their home. Who gave you this doll? asked Mother. A man in the street gave it to me, said Sara. He said I am a good girl. Mother explained: Never take anything from strangers. A stranger can be dangerous for you.
Mother gave Sara safety rules: If a stranger ever comes close to you and offers you a toy or candy or chocolate, you should step away and say 'No' to him. Leave that place quickly. Do not accept gifts from strangers. If you feel uncomfortable with any person, you should tell your parents at once, and also inform your teacher. If someone makes you feel bad, share the incident with your parents. Sara promised: I will never take things from strangers again.
سارہ ایک گڑیا پکڑے ہوئے تھی جب سارہ اور اس کا بھائی احسن گھر میں داخل ہوئے۔ امی نے پوچھا: Who gave you this doll?
Carefully means with a lot of attention. Stranger means a person that you do not know. Friendly means showing that somebody is kind. Harmful means dangerous, and uncomfortable means uneasy.
In parts of speech, words are sorted into groups: Sara (noun), you (pronoun), permit (verb), nice (adjective), mother (noun), harsh (adjective), promise (verb), home (noun), dangerous (adjective), accept (verb), they (pronoun). Read the given words and write them in the right columns: Noun, Verb, Adjective, Pronoun.
Carefully یعنی بہت توجہ سے۔ Stranger یعنی وہ شخص جسے تم نہیں جانتے۔ Friendly یعنی مہربان ہونا ظاہر کرنا۔ Harmful یعنی خطرناک، اور uncomfortable یعنی بے آرام۔
کلام کے اجزا (parts of speech) میں الفاظ گروہوں میں بانٹے جاتے ہیں: Sara (noun), you (pronoun), permit (verb), nice (adjective), mother (noun), harsh (adjective), promise (verb), home (noun), dangerous (adjective), accept (verb), they (pronoun)۔ دیے گئے الفاظ درست خانوں میں لکھو: Noun, Verb, Adjective, Pronoun۔
Some small words have weak forms: they are said quickly and quietly in a sentence, like and, or and but. Read and say the given weak forms of 'and', 'or' and 'but' in these sentences: Day and night. The food is good but the service is bad. Are you ready or not? Black and white.
In speaking, practise the classroom dialogue: Teacher: Haris, come to the front and read the lesson. Haris: No, sir, I have to wait for my turn. Teacher: No, you have to wait for your turn. Jawad: Okay, sir. Then create a dialogue session between two friends on 'Sharing' and practise it.
کچھ چھوٹے الفاظ کی کمزور آوازیں (weak forms) ہوتی ہیں: وہ جملے میں جلدی اور آہستہ بولے جاتے ہیں، جیسے and, or اور but۔ ان جملوں میں 'and', 'or' اور 'but' کی کمزور آوازیں پڑھو اور بولو: Day and night. The food is good but the service is bad. Are you ready or not? Black and white.
بولنے میں کلاس روم کے مکالمے کی مشق کرو: Teacher: Haris, come to the front and read the lesson. Haris: No, sir, I have to wait for my turn. Teacher: No, you have to wait for your turn. Jawad: Okay, sir. پھر 'Sharing' پر دو دوستوں کے درمیان مکالمہ بناؤ اور اس کی مشق کرو۔
A pronoun must agree with the noun it stands for: if the noun is singular, the pronoun is singular too. Example: Once, Sara's mother was working in her kitchen. Sara went to the kitchen to help her mother. She decided to wash the dishes. Her mother appreciated her work. Sara was happy to help her mother. Now write a paragraph on 'Respect for Family Members' taking care of this agreement.
Present, Past and Future Tenses: the present tense shows actions that happen now (Sara plays with a doll), the past tense shows actions that happened before (Sara played with a doll), and the future tense shows actions that will happen later (Sara will play with a doll). Adverbs of time tell when something happens: yesterday, tomorrow, daily, weekly, now. Abbreviations are short forms of words: Aug. = August, St. = Street, Dr. = Doctor, Dept. = Department.
ضمیر کو اسم سے مطابقت رکھنی چاہیے: اگر اسم واحد ہے تو ضمیر بھی واحد ہوگا۔ مثال: Once, Sara's mother was working in her kitchen. Sara went to the kitchen to help her mother. She decided to wash the dishes. Her mother appreciated her work. Sara was happy to help her mother. اب 'Respect for Family Members' پر پیراگراف لکھو اور اس مطابقت کا خیال رکھو۔
حال، ماضی اور مستقبل کے زمانے: حال وہ کام جو اب ہوتا ہے (Sara plays with a doll)، ماضی وہ کام جو پہلے ہوا (Sara played with a doll)، اور مستقبل وہ کام جو بعد میں ہوگا (Sara will play with a doll)۔ وقت کے متعلق فعل بتاتے ہیں کہ کام کب ہوتا ہے: yesterday, tomorrow, daily, weekly, now۔ مخففات الفاظ کی مختصر شکلیں ہیں: Aug. = August, St. = Street, Dr. = Doctor, Dept. = Department۔
To write a story, first fill in a story web: Character (who?), Setting (where and when?), The Beginning (how does it start?), Conflict (what is the problem?), The Middle (what happens?), Solution (how is it solved?). Then write your story in your notebook using the web.
Then write the rules for staying safe: never accept gifts from strangers, never go with a stranger, tell your parents at once if a stranger talks to you, and share everything with your parents. These rules keep you safe every day.
