ENGLISH

A state is a country with land, people and a government — and the government is the team that runs it. This chapter shows you what a government does for you every day, and how citizens choose it.

1. Introduction to State and Government
🏷 Tags: state, government, election
ENGLISH

A state is a country with land, people and a government. Those three parts must all be there: land to live on, people to live in it, and a government to organise things — take one away and it is not a complete state.

The government makes laws, runs schools and hospitals, builds roads and keeps peace. Citizens choose their leaders in elections, and leaders must work honestly for the people, because the government exists to serve the citizens, not the other way round.

Riyasat samjho:

2. Important Words
🏷 Tags: state, government, election
ENGLISH

Three words again, and they build on each other. State — a country with land, people and government. Government — the group that runs a country. Election — choosing leaders by voting.

Read them as a chain: the state is the whole country, the government is the group running it, and the election is how citizens pick that group. If the chain makes sense, the words will stick.

3. Example from Daily Lifeروزمرہ زندگی سے مثال
🏷 Tags: road, government school, village
ENGLISH

You do not have to look far to see the government at work. The government builds the road to our village and runs the government school there — two things you probably use without thinking about who made them.

Look around you and find one more example of your own: a hospital, a clean water supply, a police station keeping the peace. Pick one, and tell it to a friend in your own words.

4. Why It Matters
🏷 Tags: fair government, responsible citizens, progress
ENGLISH

A fair government and responsible citizens together make a country progress. It takes both sides: a government that works honestly, and citizens who follow laws, vote and care for public things.

Think of it like a team game. If only the government plays fair and citizens do not, or only citizens are good and the government is not, the country cannot move forward. Progress needs both halves working together.
