This poem is by Dr. Tafazzal. It remembers the day of 14th August 1947 — the day the world came to know that there stands a country named Pakistan, 'a lovely place, with sacred lands, and a home for a Musalman'.
The poem says Pakistan was born from 'a Quaid's effort, a poet's dream, and a struggle of a human flood, a new beginning beyond a stream, filled with the Muslim blood.' The soldier-poet reminds us that freedom was not free — it was bought with struggle and sacrifice.
یہ نظم ڈاکٹر تفضل کی ہے۔ یہ 14 اگست 1947 کے دن کو یاد کرتی ہے — جس دن دنیا کو معلوم ہوا کہ پاکستان نام کا ایک ملک کھڑا ہے، 'a lovely place, with sacred lands, and a home for a Musalman'۔
نظم کہتی ہے کہ پاکستان 'a Quaid's effort, a poet's dream, and a struggle of a human flood' سے پیدا ہوا۔ سپاہی شاعر ہمیں یاد دلاتا ہے کہ آزادی مفت نہیں ملی — یہ جدوجہد اور قربانی سے خریدی گئی تھی۔

A short dialogue is a conversation between two people. Rules: start a new line for each speaker; write the speaker's name followed by a colon; use quotation marks for spoken words or write speech directly; keep it natural, polite and to the point.
Example topic: two students talking about 14th August — what happened, why it matters, and how they will celebrate Pakistan's birthday.
