1. Reading: Eid ul Fitrمطالعہ: عید الفطر
🏷 Tags: Eid, Ramadan, fasting, Fitrana, festival
ENGLISH

Eid ul Fitr is the festival that comes after the holy month of Ramadan. During Ramadan, Muslims fast from dawn to sunset, pray Taraweeh at night, and try to do good deeds. On the night of Laylatul Qadr, the Quran was first revealed — it is better than a thousand months.

Before Eid prayers, Muslims pay Zakat al-Fitr (Fitrana) so that poor people can also celebrate. On Eid day, people wear new clothes, offer Eid prayers, hug each other, visit relatives, receive Eidi (money gifts) and eat sweet dishes like Sheer Khurma. The real joy of Eid is sharing with the poor.

Eid Mubarak
Eid se samjho: Ramadan ke baad Eid — Fitrana, namaz, Eidi aur sharing ki khushi samjho.
2. Vocabulary: Homographsالفاظ: ہم شکل الفاظ
🏷 Tags: vocabulary, homographs, same spelling
ENGLISH

Homographs are words that have the SAME spelling but DIFFERENT meanings (and sometimes different pronunciation). Examples: bat (a flying animal / a cricket bat), bank (a river bank / a money bank), bow (to bend forward / a ribbon bow), lead (to guide / the metal lead), tear (a drop from the eye / to rip paper). The meaning becomes clear from the sentence.

batbankbowlead
Homographs se samjho: Same spelling, different meaning — bat, bank, bow ki misaalein samjho.
3. Grammar: Gender Nouns, Pronouns, Tensesقواعد: جنس، ضمائر، زمانے
🏷 Tags: grammar, gender nouns, pronouns, tenses, SVA
ENGLISH

Gender nouns: masculine (boy, father, king), feminine (girl, mother, queen), common (baby, teacher, student — can be either), neuter (property, book, table — neither male nor female). Pronouns: personal pronouns — subjective (I, we, he, she, they), objective (me, us, him, her, them), possessive (my, our, his, her, their); demonstrative (this, that, these, those); interrogative (who, what, which, whose).

Sentence pattern SVA = subject + verb + adjective: 'She is happy.' Tenses: simple present ('He goes'), simple past ('He went'), simple future ('He will go').

اردو

جنس والے اسم: مذکر (boy, father, king)، مونث (girl, mother, queen)، مشترک (baby, teacher, student — دونوں ہو سکتے ہیں)، غیر جاندار (property, book, table — نہ مذکر نہ مونث)۔ ضمائر: شخصی ضمائر — فاعلی (I, we, he, she, they)، مفعولی (me, us, him, her, them)، ملکیتی (my, our, his, her, their)؛ اشاری (this, that, these, those)؛ سوالی (who, what, which, whose)۔

جملے کی بناوٹ SVA = فاعل + فعل + صفت: 'She is happy.' زمانے: حال سادہ ('He goes')، ماضی سادہ ('He went')، مستقبل سادہ ('He will go')۔

Imemythis
Pronouns se samjho: Subjective, objective, possessive — pronoun ki qismein pehchano.
4. Writing and Punctuation: Exclamation Mark, Narrative Paragraphتحریر اور رموز: فجائیہ نشان، بیانیہ پیراگراف
🏷 Tags: writing, exclamation mark, narrative paragraph, spelling
ENGLISH

The exclamation mark (!) is used for strong feelings, joy, surprise or orders: 'Eid Mubarak!', 'What a beautiful day!', 'Hurrah! We won!' Capital letters and full stops are used as usual; the exclamation mark replaces the full stop at the end of an exclamatory sentence.

Narrative paragraph: tell a story or an event in order — beginning, middle, end. Spelling rules to remember: words ending in -y change to -ies in the plural (baby → babies, story → stories); -tious and -cious words (ambitious, precious) with the exception -xious (anxious).

اردو

فجائیہ نشان (!) شدید جذبات، خوشی، حیرت یا حکم کے لیے استعمال ہوتا ہے: 'Eid Mubarak!'، 'What a beautiful day!'، 'Hurrah! We won!'

Eid Mubarak!
Exclamation se samjho: Strong feeling کے لیے exclamation mark (!) لگاؤ — عید مبارک!
