In this closing poem, Ahmad Nadeem Qasmi prays for Pakistan to receive a spring whose shade spreads across the whole of Asia, and for winds that clear away the dust of hardship from the land.
The book that opened with a Hamd closes with a Dua — from praise of Allah to prayer for the homeland. The structure itself is a lesson: begin with God, end with service to the nation.
The poet asks Allah to send a spring (bahaar) whose shade reaches across Asia — not a small, private spring for Pakistan alone, but a season of peace and prosperity shared with the whole continent.
Spring is the poem's image for renewal: after winter's hardship, blossoms return. The prayer is generous: Pakistan's blessing should overflow to its neighbours.
He asks Allah to send rain that turns the homeland into an unbroken green landscape — no patch dry, no field left out. Green, as in Lesson 6, means life, peace and prosperity.
And he asks for winds that clear the dust of hardship — the dust of poverty, ignorance and division — so the land can breathe clean again.
The poet asks Allah to give every citizen the spirit to sacrifice personal happiness for the nation's happiness. A nation is built when citizens put the common good before private comfort.
Students connect this to earlier lessons: the martyrs' sacrifice, the mountaineer's training, the student's honest work — all are small forms of this same spirit.
The poem closes by asking Allah's mercy (rehmat) and blessing (barkat) upon this land, dedicated to Him. It is a quiet ending after twenty lessons of noise, laughter, warning and hope.
Students end the book as they began it — with a prayer. The teacher asks: what will you do, this week, to answer this dua with action?

Ahmad Nadeem Qasmi — Ahmad Nadeem Qasmi wrote both the Lesson 6 poem and this closing Dua.
One whose shade reaches across Asia — A spring whose shade spreads across the whole of Asia.
Sacrifice personal happiness for the happiness of the homeland — Sacrifice personal happiness for the nation's happiness.
A prayer asking Allah's mercy (rehmat) and blessing (barkat) upon the homeland — Mercy and blessing upon the land, dedicated to Him.
begin with God, end with service to the nation — Begin with praise of Allah, end with prayer for the homeland — praise to service.
Renewal after hardship — a season of peace and prosperity.
The dust of hardship: poverty, ignorance and division.
Both are by Ahmad Nadeem Qasmi and both pray for the homeland — Lesson 6 prays for its harvest and greenery, this one for its spring, rain and citizens' sacrifice.
A student studies instead of playing so the class result rises; a shopkeeper charges fairly instead of profiting from shortage — private comfort given up for common good.
Because blessing should overflow: peace and prosperity shared with neighbours last longer than blessing kept alone, and a generous prayer suits a generous faith.
A good answer names one concrete act (e.g. planting and caring for a sapling, helping a weak classmate, refusing a bribe of marks by not cheating) and links it to the dua's spirit of sacrifice for the common good.
