PM Youth Chromebook Scheme 2026 — Free Chromebook for Government School Toppers

Under the Prime Minister's Youth Chromebook Scheme 2026, the Government of Pakistan is giving free Chromebooks to top-performing students of government schools. The scheme promotes digital learning and gives bright students access to educational resources through technology. Who Is Eligible?

Eligibility depends on your board, your class and your result in the Annual Examinations 2026. Only students of government/public schools are eligible — private school students are not included in this scheme.

Each board has sent its list of toppers to the IBCC. Your name must be on that list — checking your record on the portal shows whether you have been shortlisted. The portal does not publish a fixed percentage or marks condition; each board has its own list and rules.

Documents to Keep Ready Before You Apply

Each file must be 300 KB or smaller and clearly readable (a blurry or cropped image may be rejected):

• Recent colour photograph — front-facing, plain background; JPG or PNG, up to 300 KB.
• Mark sheet — SSC-I (9th) or SSC-II (10th) mark sheet; JPG, PNG or PDF, up to 300 KB.
• Attested copy of B-Form or CNIC — JPG, PNG or PDF, up to 300 KB.
• Attested copy of father/guardian's CNIC — JPG, PNG or PDF, up to 300 KB.

How to Apply Online (Step by Step)

1. Open the official portal: go to pmychromebooks.ibcc.edu.pk.
2. Choose the Student Record Search or Apply option.
3. Select your education board (for example BISE Lahore, BISE Rawalpindi, and so on).
4. Enter your details: B-Form number or CNIC number, roll number or registration number — digits only, without dashes or spaces — and your date of birth exactly as on your official documents.
5. Click “Find My Record” and check that your name, school and marks are all correct.
6. Upload your documents: photograph, mark sheet and the attested copies (B-Form and father/guardian's CNIC).
7. Submit and save your slip: after submitting you will get a reference number — download your slip and keep it safe.

Each student can apply only once, and an application cannot be edited after final submission — so check all details and documents carefully before you submit.

Last Date to Apply

There is no single nationwide deadline — each board has its own date. For example, the date reported for BISE Lahore and the AJK board was 19 October 2026, so some boards' windows may already have closed. Always check your board's official notice and the official portal for your deadline — and if your board's window is still open, check your record right away instead of waiting.

• Applying does not mean you will get a Chromebook. Final selection follows the board's list and the scheme's rules.

Can private school students apply?

No. The scheme is only for government/public school students.

Are 10th class students also eligible?

In Punjab, Sindh, KP and Balochistan, only 9th class. In AJK, Islamabad and Gilgit-Baltistan, toppers of both 9th and 10th classes are eligible.

What if my record is not found?

Try the other identifier (roll number or registration number), double-check your date of birth, then contact your board.

How large can the documents be?

Each file at most 300 KB — photograph in JPG/PNG, other documents in JPG, PNG or PDF.

What do I get after applying?

A reference number and a slip to download. Keep the slip safe — it is the proof of your application.
